2 Samuel 7:15
"But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee."
Imagine a life devoid of God's mercies. His mercy spares us daily from the Hell and judgment that we deserve. Without that, where would you be?
Lamentations 3:21-23
" This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
What an astounding blessing we have in the mercy of God! He is the Supreme Judge and had ever right to punish righteously, but His unfathomable love compels His matchless mercy.
