1 Samuel 20:1 "And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity? and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?"
Too often we seek out the faults of another, assuming that the problem is with them, not with ourselves.
When we find ourselves in a troublesome situation, at odds with another, what is our response? Do we search our own soul looking for our own faults?
May we say with David, " Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Seek to be right with God and others before seeking to make others right with yourself.
